Lance Horne is a well-known composer, lyricist, singer, pianist, and music director, and has maintained many ongoing collaborations with exciting artists from around the world. His debut album, First Things Last, features Lance's latest compositional exploration of engaging sounds from musical theatre and beyond. The spectacular array of special guest singers from Broadway and the West End include Alan Cumming, Amanda Palmer, Cheyenne Jackson, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Ricki Lake, Meow Meow, Lea DeLaria, Julie Atherton, Paul Spicer, Emma Williams, and Hannah Waddingham, and more. First Things Last features 16 original compositions backed by an all-star orchestra, highlighting Lance on the piano. Writing in genres from musical theater to rock, with placement on the classical stage, in film scores and television (the latter garnering him an Emmy-award), Mr. Horne maintains an active performance schedule on both US coasts, the UK, and Australia. Lance has performed with Alan Cumming at Lincoln Center, Sydney Opera House, the Vaudeville on London's West End, the Geffen, Feinstein's, and a live appearance on the M&M's Broadway float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Also on the West End, he appeared with Meow Meow at the Hippodrome in La Clique and behind the keys at the Vaudeville theater for Notes Unleashed: The Music of Lance Horne with stars of London's stage and screen. He is the music director for Alan Cumming, Meow Meow, Justin Bond, Ugly Betty's Michael Urie Becki Newton and Amanda Palmer. He regularly performs with Ricki Lake, Cheyenne Jackson, Lea DeLaria, Sandra Bernhart, Jake Shears, Carole Pope, Sydney Dance Company, Pina Bausch's Tanzfestival, Seoul Philharmonic, Boston Pops, Atlanta Symphony, and The Dresden Dolls. His band has opened for Dwight Yoakam, Death Cab for Cutie, Tex Perkins, Adam Lambert, and Anne Hampton Callaway. The $trip, Amandine, and The Center are all musicals in development in London, NY, and LA, for which he is the composer and lyricist.
